new painting
Finished the 4 week art class that I was taking with my daughter Gabby.Had a really great time :) here is my latest watercolor and below that is Gabby's :)
I am not too sure about the use of cool colors in the front of the painting. there seems to be something wrong with this but I am not sure what...any ideas?

And Lisa, I think that in your revised version of this landscape, you have added a nice continuation of the cool colors in the deepening of the blue-shades in the middle row of trees; thus, lending a nice coherency to the view as a whole...whereas, in the first painting, the lines between colors and shades more more distinct and perhaps that's what
you were sensing when you were unsure of the color choice there. Just a thought :)
Both landscapes are lovely!
