My daughter, Joscelyn, entered the Poor Clare cloistered community in Barhamsville, VA on Friday.
This video was made by a dear friend at her going away party at the Church last Sunday.
My heart is bursting with Joy and breaking with sadness right now...

I met Joscelyn through mutual friends (all of us discerning religious life) and had been corresponding with her thru' Skype. I'm so grateful to have interacted with her even if only for a short while. She's is an amazing young lady! God bless and preserve her as she enters this new stage of her vocation!
